On Friday, November 21st, we gathered with a shared purpose: to crochet patterns filled with love and to unite our creations into colorful, meaningful blankets.

Throughout the workshop, each participant designed their own unique square, in an atmosphere filled with conversation, smiles, inspiration, and creativity.

As the yarn moved stitch by stitch, we were also weaving together moments, connections, and new memories.

With great care, we joined all the patterns to create warm, handmade blankets. These blankets were lovingly prepared as Christmas gifts for the wonderful grandmothers and grandfathers residing in the retirement home.

Our wish is for these blankets to bring warmth, joy, and the gentle reminder that “you are not alone — you are remembered with love” during the festive season.

With hot tea, coffee, and homemade cookies, the day unfolded with creativity, kindness, and heartfelt togetherness.

Each pattern crocheted was a small act of giving, a message of care and compassion.

Because when we create with love, we craft far more than an object — we build a bridge of warmth, humanity, and connection.
